Why do I call myself your 'Good News' Auctioneer?
I spent decades in the rough and tumble world of television news. As a broadcast journalist I have seen the best and worst of humanity. I've been brought to tears by the dogged determination of the superhero people who have overcome incredible hardships.
I see the same in the benefit auction world. It's amazing what people with a vision and goal can accomplish. Whether a school, non profit or foundation, their goals are always the same, to help others. But usually the people helping people need help themselves. And that's where I come in. As a professional benefit auctioneer I am trained in the best fundraising practices as determined by auctioneers nationwide.
I have moved from tv news to benefit auctioneering. Rodney Ho, with the Atlanta Journal Constitution wrote this article about me transitioning to fundraising full time.
I am among an elite group of auctioneers who hold the designation of Benefit Auctioneers Specialist (BAS). It is designated by the National Auctioneers Association.
BAS designees are trained in best practices in conducting benefit auctions.
The BAS designation has been awarded to only 3% of the nation’s auctioneers.
I am also a certified bilingual auctioneer.
I work with a team of professionals to take your fundraising to new levels.
